Traveling Light is about letting go of the heavy and realizing the light.  It may sound silly, but life is so simple.  It can handle itself.  There is an energy and intelligence at work in nature, and we are all a part of it.  If we can learn to let it, life will use our tools, our talents and our traits in the best possible expression of our unique being.

Trusting life isn’t about giving up or giving in – it’s about giving our all, and receiving the same.  It may take a bit of faith to get the ball rolling – faith in life and in ourselves – but habituating this bravery is more than worthwhile.  In the end it’s effortless.

Through these musings I intend to share simple wisdom, truth and love to inspire enlightened living.

  1. Hi James, thanks for visiting and following my blog. I initially expected this would be a blog about travel in the literal sense, but I see now you’re referring to “Traveling Light” in a more metaphysical way. It’s a lesson I think many of us could benefit from. Peace.

  2. I once went through a difficult time and when I asked what the lesson was, the word, “Surrender” floated across my vision in neon letters. I spent a year contemplating what that word meant in the various aspects of my life. It was a beautiful lesson that has made such a difference in my life. Thank you for giving this message to us all. hugs, pat

  3. Hello James — you’ve put together a very thoughtful blog here, with entries that inspire a reader toward reflection and self-discovery. Nicely done! I’ve been doing some “traveling light” myself this year, making time to find and comment on a positive blog every day while keeping a list of my discoveries on my own blog. Your site is today’s entry. 🙂

I love this quote. I was just talking to a friend today about trusting in the universe, our letting go to trust our intuition. Words to live by.
I’m happy to have met you James. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
    Joyful Be,
    Kathryn J
